Rani Mukherjee likes link-up gossips with Aditya Chopra!

If you are assuming that Rani Mukherjee is annoyed and unhappy over her link-up news with Aditya Chopra which is doing the rounds then you are absolutely wrong. Unlike others, Rani is enjoying every bit of the stories published in the tabloids or aired on TV.

Speaking about those rumors, Rani tells jokingly, “The good part is that it is constant. I’m glad I’m being linked with just one person not many. I enjoy that ‘constant’.”

Rani also told that she wants to keep her personal life totally private and she is not comfortable speaking about it in public.

On a serious message, Rani expressed her views about relationships. “When two people are in a relationship, you have to take the other person’s feelings into consideration. I may want to speak about a relationship, but I won’t if the person I’m in a relationship with is not comfortable with me talking about him,” she told.

Aamir’s new avatar as a ghost!

Always expect the unanticipated from perfectionist Aamir Khan. He always portrays something different in his characters and surprises his audiences. As reported previously, Aamir Khan is going to play a cop in Reema Kagti’s thriller but the latest about this movie is that apart from playing a cop, the perfectionist will be playing a ghost.

Aamir's image in the get-up of a cop with thick moustache has already been released. He has also signed Yash Raj’s banner ‘Dhoom 3’ where he will play the role of a villain.

Whether it is`Taare Zameen Par`, `Rang De Basanti` or `3 Idiots`, Aamir has always impressed his audiences with his awesome performances.

Veena Malik cheers for India-Pak match with Ashmit Patel!

If all goes according plan, Pakistan’s hottest babe export to India Veena Malik will be seen at Mohali Wednesday with soul mate Ashmit Patel by her side cheering for her country at the cricket World Cup semifinal featuring the two countries. Veena who loves cricket and cricketers is at the moment divided in her love for actor Ashmit and the game.

She is in India to be part of two cricket shows on Indian television.

“Some people compare me to Mandira Bedi. But I am happy being who I am. I love cricket, though commenting on it is not something I thought I would do. But life is such. You never knew where it takes you,” Veena told.

At the moment it is off to Mohali for Veena where she will be sharing seating space (so to speak) with her country’s Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani watching the two countries playing a game that unites both sides even at the time of infinite stress and conflict.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will also watch the game with his Pakistani counterpart.

Veena is very sure about where her loyalties lie.

“It’s very simple, really. My heart says I should support Pakistan at the match. It has given me my identity and all I have. India, on the other hand, has given me so much love and tremendous career opportunities.”

So how will the saucy temptress who has defiantly thrown off the burqa, cope with the main ‘idhar-jaaon-yaa-udhar-jaaon’ dilemma?

“The Indian team is a favorite to win the Cup. But I am Pakistani. So I will paint the Pakistan flag on one cheek and the Indian flag on the other cheek. And may the best team win on Wednesday,” told the actor.

Veena does have her favourites among the cricketers from both sides.

“Yuvraj and Afridi both play from the heart and believe in playing fair cricket. No one can buy their loyalties. I’m a huge fan of Sachin Tendulkar, but only when he isn’t playing against Pakistan,” she told.

And Veena bursts into loud laughter.

Her other entertainer-colleague from Pakistan, pop star Ali Zafar is not quite a cricket fiend.

Though he was not accessible for comment and would not be in the country to watch the match Wednesday, a source close to Ali told, “Ali isn’t into politics or cricket. Music is his life. And now he’s into acting. He would like to keep his art free of politics and the politics of cricket. But yes he does equally enjoy watching the maestros of both the teams doing their thing on the field.”

For Adnan Sami who has made Mumbai his home for 10 years now the situation gets difficult.

He has close ties with Pakistan and the Pakistani prime minister and has chosen to stay away from the match to avoid his loyalty being questioned.

Not that Adnan’s loyalty is under scrutiny. The super-gifted musician tells, “I’m only remotely interested in cricket as a sport and find it ludicrous to give it a political connotation. Pakistani or Indian, we should treat the match as a game.”

Bipasha helped me a lot: Rana Daggubati

Southern actor Rana Daggubati, who is paired with Bipasha Basu in his Bollywood debut ‘Dum Maaro Dum’, is not dating his co-star but admires her for making him comfortable on the sets of the crime thriller.

The movie, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Prateik Babbar, is releasing April 22.

‘Being a newcomer in Bollywood, I had initial jitters, but I must say my co-stars – Bipasha and Abhishek – really helped me to pull it off. Bipasha helped me a lot and took care of my comfort during shoots,’ Daggubati told.

‘I have known Abhishek even before we started working together for the film,’ he included.

Directed by Rohan Sippy, the film revolves around the lives of six people who meet in Goa and how their lives change once they are dragged into the drug mafia world.

The 25-year-old plays a musician in ‘Dum Maaro Dum’.

‘I play a Goan disc jockey. My character is very laid back and does not worry about anything. But he gets trapped in a dirty circle,’ he told.

Daggubati, grandson of veteran Telugu film actor-producer D. Ramanaidu and son of producer D. Suresh Babu, had to work on accent.

‘For the character, I had to do a lot of prepartaion – starting from body language to the typical Hindi accent. I also took guitar lessons. But diction training took most of the time,’ he told.

“I had to get rid of my Hyderabadi Hindi and learn Goan Hindi. It wasn’t easy because these two kinds of Hindi were mutually incompatible. I had to unlearn one kind of Hindi and then learn a new kind. Since I was brought up in Chennai, I speak fluent Tamil and Telugu,” he included.

When asked what prompted him to make his debut with Rohan Sippy’s movie, he told, “I knew I could never get an opportunity to do this kind of role due to regional boundaries. The role and the script were a bigger excitement for me to grow as an actor.”

The actor who made his debut in 2010 with Telugu film ‘Leader’, an intense political drama, tells the shooting in Goa was more like a vacation.

“Nothing can be better than enjoying your work. Even while we were shooting, it seemed as if we were all out for a vacation. Beautiful Goa, laid back attitude, fun and excitement made work so much enjoyable.”

Daggubati is busy promoting ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ and is equally excited about his Telugu movie ‘Nenu Na Rakshasi’ which will release April 29.

Salman takes revenge from his ex-flame?

Salman Khan hasn’t taken his ex girlfriend’s open statement of her love for Ranbir Kapoor very well. What hurt him even more is that how she would never go back to her ex-flame.

Salman has now totally lost it and is trying his best to be a major obstacle in Kaif’s career graph.

According to a close source, “Salman Khan has done everything in his capacity to make Katrina a leading star.

But after their break up and her alleged relationship and break up with Ranbir Kapoor, Salman is out to seek revenge.

He has already asked people close to him not to work with Katrina. If anyone dares to work with her, noticeably, he will not be a part of the project.

In fact, during the shooting of Ready, an A-lister actress was needed for a cameo but Salman suggested Zarine Khan’s name in place of Katrina being in the discussions.

Salman, it seems, has also told Kabir Khan that he would not want to work with Katrina in his movie and Priyanka should step in.”

Another source included, “Salman has never been like this but he is definitely not happy with Katrina’s behavior. It was obvious during the shoot of Bigg Boss when Salman had taken digs at her. The anger has only multiplied.”

Though a source close to Katrina told, “There is no tension between Salman and her and everything is fine. She still considers Salman as one of her closest friends in Bollywood and will always continue to do so.”

Ranbir’s to don three special looks in Burfi!

Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in three different looks in his upcoming film Burfi. Apart from his normal look, he will don a French beard and an aged look.

A source tells, “RK ages from his 20s to the 50s. The different looks are not always visible in the movie. It’s implied that he ages. Mostly, he has one look throughout. Ranbir has also grown a little French beard for his character in Burfi for the first time as it goes with the sharpness of his character.”

Expanding on the character on Burfi the source tells, “Though he is deaf and mute he is also totally wily, humorous and very sharp a go-getter with a wicked streak and warm heart. He is a small-time crook from Darjeeling always out-smarting the cops. Normally, physically challenged people are shown in a tragic light trying to draw sympathy from the audience. But he will keep the audience amused with his antics he is too smart a cookie!”

Burfi is a small-town criminal of the 1970s. “It’s not a contemporary movie based in 2011 as the story has a base in the emergency and Naxal movement, though it’s just an outline for the story but not the main story. The movie will be shot in Mumbai, Darjeeling and Kolkata and is a romantic-comedy.”

Airlines get Juhi Chawla upset in Australia

Very devoted and diligent with regards to her music training Juhi Chawla carried her tanpura with her on her recent trips to Australia and New Zealand where she went to promote her forthcoming release Onir 's I AM.

While flying from Sydney to Melbourne the flight operators refuse to let the star carry her instrument with her in the cabin and insisted that it will be taken care of as it was tagged as "fragile".However when she opened the tanpura the next day she was upset to find a big hole in the instrument.

Says a source close to the star"Juhi was very attached to her tanpura and was very upset to see it damaged.Nevertheless she took it like a sport and continued with the promotion bit"

Biggest budget movie ‘Ra’ is a special film for Shahrukh

Shahrukh Khan movie Ra.One has lot of exceptional qualities to it like it the biggest budget movie so far. For the first time SRK is playing a superhero and he is also making the Anubhav Sinha movie for his kids. Ra One is a special movie for the audience and for the actor. As we all know the Bollywood Badshah is very obsessive about his work as well as his family hence when two passions meet, we can all except a masterpiece.

In Bollywood we have seen many couples turning in to boyfriend-girlfriends after carrying the tag of “Just Friend” for long time. But the starry duo, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is just the opposite; after being in a relationship they have now started flaunting the “Just friends” tag since both have moved on and parted ways.

Contrasting the past relationships of Salman, the Katrina relation seems to be different, not because we saw some divine connection in between rather because this affair didn’t end on a bitter note.
According to Katrina’s friend, “They’ve parted ways quite some time back. But Salman is fiercely protective of her. No one is allowed to badmouth Katrina in Salman’s presence, contrary to the bitching sessions that went on till the wee hours when he parted bitterly with some of his other girlfriends.”

I am not a womanizer: Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor has denied that he is a womanizer, despite his frequent romantic links to his co-stars.

The Rocket Singh actor is rumored to be seeing American model Nargis Fakhri, who will make her Bollywood debut in his upcoming movie Rock Star.

He said, “That isn’t me that’s being written about. I’ve had enough. I just want to withdraw from the limelight completely for some time.”

Kapoor was also lovingly connected to Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

A source close to the star said to the paper that the 28-year-old will no longer take his Casanova image “lying down”.

He is said to be interested in moving into directing and will helm a behind-the-scenes feature for the forthcoming drama Barfee, co-starring Priyanka Chopra.

Aditya Chopra wants '3 Khans' power together under YRF

Well, definitely, if he… happens to be Aditya Chopra, scion of Yash Chopra and leading light of the YRF banner. Seemingly, the DDLJ genius has pulled off the impossible and bagged the grandfather of all casting coups. Word has it that the moviemaker will have all the three Khans: Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir star in a film each in 2011!

Aamir will be spotted enacting the baddie in Dhoom 3; Salman will be showcased in Kabir Khan's next project, while SRK will be illumined in Yash Chopra's untitled film.

Since Shah Rukh was an everlasting favorite among the Chopras, the other two Khan biggies kept away from the YRF turf, particularly after some alleged misunderstandings. Although Aditya wooed Aamir back with Fanaa (2006), Salman chose to chuck any chances of working with the well-known banner.

Until now, that is.

John and Bipasha reunites for Small Screen!

They may not make combined appearances at events anymore, but alleged ex lovers Bipasha Basu and John Abraham have no qualms about appearing on screen together… the small one that is! In spite of the media rumpus surrounding their reported split, Bipasha and Johnny Boy seem to be honoring their professional commitments and will soon be seen in a hair product commercial.

The duo has previously appeared in an anti dandruff shampoo ad together, but their contract with the brand recently ended. Apparently, Basu and Abraham were then offered a handsome sum by another brand to endorse its hair product. The ‘Jism’ stars readily agreed and have even shot the telly commercial together.

Ajay Turns Baddie For 'Krrish' Sequel?

First Aamir Khan and now Ajay Devgn. Tinsel Town's leading men are definitely not shying away from donning the evil mantle. If the latest buzz on the gossip is to be believed, Devgn could play the villain to Hrithik Roshan's superhero in Krrish sequel!

It seems that, Ajay and Rakesh Roshan have been eager to work with each other since Karan Arjun', but have been waiting for the right opportunity. Now, even Hrithik is keen for Ajay to star in the Krrish sequel and allegedly, the Singham star is "giving it serious thought".

The villain's role in Krrish sequel has been modeled on that of Joker in the Batman series. According to a highly placed source, the character is "an ultra cool, stylish persona with grey shades".

On the other hand, Devgn might have to face some competition for the role in the form of Salman Khan! Actually, Senior Roshan recently met Salman in Bangkok where the actor was shooting for his upcoming film, Ready.

Hrithik wants Katrina’s special role in 'Krrish Sequel'!

If all goes well, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif, who have steered clear of any attempt to showcase them together in any project… might reverse that and share frames in Rakesh Roshan's Krrish Sequel.

The Roshan project top lines Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik, though Katrina is slated to enact a crucial part in the sequel.

After earlier unsuccessful attempts to get the Katrina and Priyanka together by Shrishti Behl in an Indianised version of 'Bride Wars' and Anurag Basu's slashed plans to cast the pair in 'Barfee,' the Roshan film might achieve the near impossible.

Supposedly, Hrithik was all keen to pencil in Katrina for 'Krrish Sequel', specifically after the Spain schedule of 'Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara,' where the two hit it off notably.

States a highly placed source, "The sequel will start rolling from June 15, 2011,after Hrithik films a major chunk of the shooting in Diu. Currently, the writing work on 'Krrish Sequel' is in full swing and a new role too has been added which will be played by Katrina Kaif in the film."

Actress Chitrangada Singh has gotten a role of a sexy mutant in Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Krissh 3’. The news is that it is first ever female mutant character that has been etched out for any heroine in Bollywood.

Salman takes a ride of bicycle for Preity Zinta

Salman Khan cycled from his home at Bandra to RK Studios at Chembur on Saturday for the shoot of Preity Zinta’s Guinness World Records — Ab India Todega. As reported ‘In a tearing hurry’; Hitlist, March 15) Sallu features in the show and will part of the finale episode which will air after a couple of weeks.

Salman made it a point to be part of the reality show due to his friend Preity Zinta. The star considers cycling a sure-shot way to fitness and often cycles to his shoots.

Soha Ali’s marriage plan with Kunal Khemu!

Soha Ali Khan’s professional life may be drowning by the day, but her personal life is going great guns. She talks about her marriage plans with beau Kunal Khemu.

Soha, who is dating Kunal Khemu from pretty sometime now, tells she is ready to settle down in a couple of years.

“I am in comfortable space and we (Kunal and Soha) are happy with our career graphs; so whenever the right time comes, we will announce our marriage,” she told.

Speaking about her filmy career, Soha sounds very thrilled talking about a love story called ‘Chemistry’ with Shreyas Talpade. It’s a story that revolves around two people dumped by their respective partners and their lives afterwards.

“It’s a mad role and you will see me in pink hair in it. My character is between Charlie Chaplin and Devanand Sagar. The character was a bit out of my normal acting range as I do more intense films. There is a lot of improvisation and laughs,” Soha added.

Soha also has a Hollywood remake comedy film in her kitty. The movie called ‘Sound track’ opposite Rajiv Khandelwal is a remake of “It’s All Gone Pete Tong ‘. In the movie Rajiv plays DJ and Soha plays a girl who is born deaf.

Freida Pinto doesn’t want to romance with Dev Patel on screen?

Freida Pinto isn’t very eager to work with her boyfriend Dev Patel.

“I wouldn’t want to work with him, but I don’t mean that in a bad way. He said something similar in an interview that was misinterpreted. What he was trying to say is that so much happened on Slumdog Millionaire, in terms of it becoming so big, that if the two of us were paired in a film as a couple again it wouldn’t live up to that. Nothing ever could. It’s too much magic to live up to on screen,” Freida tells to a tabloid.

The girl from Mumbai was freshly in the news for her somewhat racy photoshoot for the US edition of GQ Magazine.

“The decision to do those pictures was mine. I definitely knew how I wanted to look. A stylist may have chosen the clothes but the decision to wear them was mine. I would hate to feel that I was being objectified. I have always said that a woman’s sexuality should not be used in a way that is demeaning to her,” told Freida.

Freida is overwhelmed by the speed at which she found herself catapulted to fame after the success of Slumdog Millionaire.

Hugh Jackman in Dabangg director’s next?

At the FICCI closing ceremony, Hugh Jackman told he loves Bollywood and would love to work in Bollywood.

News has it that Abhinav Kashyap, the director of Dabangg, immediately met the Hollywood superstar and discussed his next directorial project, Project 18.

A source disclosed, “The meeting between Abhinav and Jackman happened at a five star hotel. There were a couple of Australian directors present. Under this Indo-Australian initiative, Australian director Bill Bennett will come to India and work with Kashyap.”

Another source present at the venue told, “Abhinav and Jackman hit it off very well. They spoke about Jackman’s movies. The director proceeded to narrate the synopsis of Project 18 to Jackman, who was quite impressed with the plot. After discussing the movie at great length, it is still uncertain if Kashyap will sign Jackman for his film.”

Bipasha’s demand gives chance to Yana in place of her for ‘Murder 2'

This time Bipasha has skirmished Bhatts in an unusually wrong way. She was offered to do an item song in ‘Murder 2’, which she agreed to do on the condition that Bosco-Ceaser will choreograph the song.

Bhatts agreed to this and approached the choreographer duo. But, the duo asked for 7 lakh, which is 3 lakh more than their actual market value. They even demanded Rs.1000 per day for the tea boy. Now this was too much for Bhatts to take for Bipasha on board and they decided to drop her from the song. Now No Panty girl Yana Gupta has been roped in to do the song.

Soon, Bips had called up Mukesh Bhatt and was ready to do the song without Bosco-Ceaser but it was too late.

After YPD’s success, Deols Trio to star in ‘Masters'

After having tasted box-office success with ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’, Deols are looking at bouncing back in a gigantic way. They have already started working towards it. Currently, they have kept the sequel of ‘YPD’ at the back burner and have joined hands with their ‘Apne’ director Anil Sharma for a 3D action movie ‘Masters’.

The movie is as of currently in scripting stage and only Sunny has signed on the dotted line. Bobby and Dharamji’s dates are being worked out in view of that. The movie has been scheduled to shoot in Las Vegas.

The team is even planning to rope in a foreign actress in the movie. In all possibility, they will hire a Hollywood action director for the movie.

Abhi and Aish are now Ladies And Gentleman

If all falls in place, Raj Kumar Santoshi’s upcoming romcom ‘Ladies And Gentle’ will be Abhishek and Aishwarya’s ninth movie together. The duo has freshly signed the movie and it is set to go on floors in July. It will be shot across Mumbai, Rome, New York and Malaysia.

Aishwarya had turned down Santoshi offer when he approached her previously citing date problem. However, the movie got delayed and now Ash has agreed to star in it with her hubby. Santoshi is looking at a big box-office hit with the duo on board.

This bears out that although ‘Raavan’ botched to set the cash registers ringing, Abhi-Ash is still a power-couple in tinsel town. Apart from ‘Raavan’ the duo has starred in ‘Dhai Akshar Prem Ke’, ‘Kuch Naa Kaho’, ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, ‘Dhoom 2’, ‘Umrao Jaan’, ‘Guru’ and ‘Sarkar Raj’ together in the past.

Aishwarya is not the most beautiful woman in the world!

Hugh Jackman, who shared the podium with the world’s most beautiful woman Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in FICCI Frames 2011, doesn’t find the beauty the most beautiful woman on earth.

Here’s what he had to state – “When someone told me that world’s most beautiful lady will welcome me, I was too thrilled. I thought it will be my wife Deborra. But later I came to know that it was Aishwarya”.

“I consider Ash as a very beautiful lady, but certainly not the most beautiful on the planet. Because according to me, my wife Deborra is the most beautiful lady,” tells Jackman, talking about his wife Deborra-Lee Furness.

Ashwarya, though at first stunned, got the superstar’s humor and then played along. Aishwarya gifted Hugh with a small Lord Ganesha’s idol. “I welcome Hugh Jackman to India. He is one of the most handsome and diligent artistes in the field of acting. On behalf of all the Indians, I welcome him in our country with a beautiful Lord Ganesha,” told Aishwarya.
